Choose the Funeral Plan and share in the traditional funeral practices of St. Meinrad Archabbey’s Benedictine community – share in a most sacred and profound way one of the deepest values you have in common with the monks of St. Meinrad: the expressed belief in the Christian’s ultimate poverty before God. Demonstrate your spiritual kinship with the monastic community. Making funeral arrangements is just as important as securing your cemetery arrangements. The Funeral Plan can be pre-arranged through your cemetery Family Service Adviser. By planning funerals ahead you can:
- Guarantee prices – assure your family does not have to pay more.
- Pay over time, up to 10 years in many cases.
- Funeral value is transferable to other funeral providers.
- Protect your family from emotional and costly decisions when a loved one has recently passed.
When you plan for yourself it extends funeral protection to your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with the Emergency Protection Plan, up to the age of 18 at no additional cost.
If you pre-arrange your funeral through one of our cemetery family service advisers, then 3% of the contract value will be contributed to the Archdiocese of Indianapolis by Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers, the funeral provider for the Catholic Cemeteries. Flanner and Buchanan can provide you with a broad range of service and payment options and proudly serves the entire Indianapolis area.
